I went out to the land tonight and the foundation has been poured! I walked around my house. There is an actual structure there. Suddenly, I feel so much more present in the process. Like a deep breath suspends you between heaven and earth.Here is a picture of our bottom level - the one that touches the earth. There are pipes in there! Our plumbing is all installed under the house. That IS the floor we'll be standing on when we move in (we're doing a "stained concrete" floor). Wild and real. Folks, this is happening!
This process keeps teaching me love and trust and gratitude.

Congrats Em! That's so exciting! Foundation and plumbing.. 2 of the most important things in a home :) Can't wait to see more pictures as the rest of the structure goes up. Congrats!! - Karen
