Smooth Ground & a Well

The excavator is GONE and the ground is all smooth (more or less). We now have a well which pumps out water 5 gallons a minute, which seems like it should be just plenty - right?

Luna and I stood on the foundation today and walked around all the "rooms". We even went upstairs to see her room.

It was a beautiful somewhat snowy day today and it was just amazing to be out there with my little punkin. I got a glimpse of what our life will be like next Winter and it felt really good :)

Foundation is POURED!!

I went out to the land tonight and the foundation has been poured! I walked around my house. There is an actual structure there. Suddenly, I feel so much more present in the process. Like a deep breath suspends you between heaven and earth.

Here is a picture of our bottom level - the one that touches the earth. There are pipes in there! Our plumbing is all installed under the house. That IS the floor we'll be standing on when we move in (we're doing a "stained concrete" floor). Wild and real. Folks, this is happening!

This process keeps teaching me love and trust and gratitude.

Breaking Ground

This has been a lessson in patience and in finding the joy and beauty in every perfect moment. We have manifested our dream land - with our big beautiful sky full of twinkling stars. We have found the peace within and used it to release our fears and dissolve our ideas of limits.

We are profoundly grateful for the opportunity to be in the this place at this time. We thank everyone who has helped bring us to this space and we look forward to updating you about our endeavor.

We have the "house" ground all covered with hay and tarps so the ground can stay insulated and not freeze like everything else. Amazing. So much love and light surrounds this project even in this time of frozen darkness.
