colors, colors

here are the color choices from last week ... more in the works!

Dry and dry walled too...

The mud is gone and the dry wall is up. For those of you that don't know, this means that most of the electric and plumbing work is done - that was happening over the last few weeks. We're getting mixed messages from the builder about whether or not we'll *really* be in by June 1st, so I have let go of any expectation on that front which is lovely, don't ya think?

This is the view when you first come into the house. The little bench to the left is from the dry wallers, but it gives you an idea of where we'll all be *sitting* to take our boots off!!! This is a really big deal if you live in Vermont... ;)

Luna and the hole for the wood stove. We're going to wait until next winter to get one. That's our deedle living room :)

Luna in the laundry room. 1/2 bath behind her with the window.

The door that leads to the "patio" & view side. That is pretty much where our kitchen table will be. (tee hee!)

Closer I am to Fine

"I'm trying to tell you something bout my life....maybe give me insight between black and white...the best thing you ever done for me....is to help me take my life less seriously...it's only life after all - yeah."

Tonight I went out again. The pipes are in for the toilets, sinks and tub. We are in the middle of dealing with the claw foot tub fixtures. I don't care what anyone says, I am still excited and I know when I am in my tub looking out that window, I won't remember any of this .... :)

The ceiling is all in downstairs. Frank has been putting whatever they put on it to protect it and it has this amazing warm golden glow from all the love.

The framing is done for the upstairs - just about. This is the view from our bedroom into our little office nook.

This is the stained glass window that will go in Luna's room and open into the stairwell.

blessings,
Emily

ps. trust the process....
